The penultimate case for the Austrian detective duo marks the 62nd case for Harald Krassnitzer and the 38th for Adele Neuhauser. This episode was directed by Katharina Mückstein, who already impressed viewers in 2024 with the episode “Dein Verlust” (Your Loss) – in which Moritz Eisner himself was suspected of murder.

In “Tatort: Gegen die Zeit” (Crime Scene: Against Time), Eisner and Feller must solve the murder of the head of a socio-educational residential community for young people, who at first glance appears committed, but on closer inspection is controversial. Their investigations are met with mistrust and resistance, as many of the young people have had bad experiences with the police.

Mückstein is not only responsible for directing, but also for the screenplay. In addition to Christina Scherrer as Meret Schande, Roland Silbernagl, Augustin Groz, Ayo Aloba, Emre Cakir, Alperen Köse, and Tristan Witzel can be seen in other roles.

LAST of the WILD takes the audience on a poetic journey into the tension between nature and civilization, to places where the wild still exists, is being tamed, or is unfolding in new forms: German predator trainer Carmen Zander, WWF gamekeeper Pavel Fomenko, and Mexican body artist María José Cristerna deal with the wild in very different ways in their lives.

On Friday, September 19, starting at 4:05 p.m., and on Thursday, September 25, starting at 9:00 p.m., director Ivette Löcker will be interviewed by Renata Schmidtkunz on Ö1.

Ivette Löcker continues her international festival tour with her latest documentary film Unsere Zeit wird kommen (Our Time Will Come) and won the award for best documentary film at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival.

The film impressed the jury, consisting of Blake Levin, Cintia Gil, and Veton Nurkollari, with its cinematic and political stance: “The ‘Heart of Sarajevo’ award for best documentary feature goes to a film that combines the beauty and the challenges of creating togetherness, with the generosity and rigour of making films in the intimacy of lives being lived. It is a film that builds a cinematic time and space for the complexities of love and the politics of coexistence, valuing the richness that each person may bring to our common spaces.”

We are delighted that THE MILLION DOLLAR BET celebrated its international premiere on June 11th 2025 at the 71st edition of the Taormina Film Festival after successful festival participations at the Viennale and the Diagonale. It was a very special cinema experience on the Sicilian coast.

Wir freuen uns, dass die Dokumentation Louise Fleck - Vergessene Filmpionierin von Uli Jürgens im Rahmen der ORF Matinee "Zum Weltfrauentag am 8. März" erneut ausgestrahlt wird.

Louise Fleck war eine außergewöhnliche Frau, die ihre Prinzipien nicht verleugnete, sie zeichnet sich durch einen starken Willen und ausgeprägten Optimismus aus. Sie scheiterte oft und verlor dennoch nicht die Hoffnung. In ihrer Dokumentation setzt Regisseurin Uli Jürgens Louise Fleck ein ausdrucksstarkes, bilderreiches und poetisches Denkmal.

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir mit Ivette Löcker die Weltpremiere ihres neues Dokumentarfilms auf der Berlinale in der Sektion Forum feiern werden.

Katharina war ein Mensch, der viele berührt hat. Wir hatten das Glück, in den letzten Jahren mit ihr an zwei Projekten zu arbeiten und viele inspirierende und schöne Momente mit ihr zu teilen. Ihr Kampfgeist und ihre trotz aller Strapazen bis zuletzt zuversichtliche Haltung wird uns abseits ihrer Filme in Erinnerung bleiben.

Katharina wird uns allen sehr fehlen. 

Unser tiefes Beileid gilt Ihrer Familie und allen Freund*innen.
