Sperrstunde [Closing Time] is a filmic and musical journey through the night. 9 songs and 9 stories about night-cleaner crews, terminated relationships, closed pubs, 24 hour jobs, lonely brides and failed burglaries. A combination of live music and film projection with snapshots of life circumstances which, even with all the melancholy of taking leave, also contains some new beginnings.

Director's Statement
When Naked Lunch asked me to work with them on a live film and music show i was sitting in the Milan airport at closing time. These moments, when a bar, a restaurant, a shop or a public building closes for the night, always have a very dense and hypnotic atmosphere. They are moments that—although very real— somehow stands off to one side of reality. Naked Lunch's music is very melancholic, so the idea of making these little films about moments when something ends presented itself as an exciting concept.
